NIX Solutions: Apple Bans Rollbacks from iOS 13.5 and iPadOS 13.5

Apple has ceased to sign iOS and iPadOS version 13.4.1. This means that iPhone and iPad users cannot roll back to an earlier build of the operating system if they have already installed the latest update, says iGuides.

Typically, Apple closes the ability to roll back to previous versions of iOS and iPadOS after it becomes sure that the latest update does not have any critical problems that could adversely affect the performance of the devices. Probably, this is exactly the case now.

Apple will return the opportunity to roll back to iOS and iPadOS version 13.4.1 in only one case. That is, if any problems are found in the latest updates and they will affect a significant part of users.

In addition, the inability to roll back from the latest builds of iOS and iPadOS usually affected the development of the jailbreak community negatively, since hacking tools were usually very late and were incompatible with the latest updates of operating systems. Now it is a rare case when this turned out to be wrong. The fact is that the Unc0ver utility has recently been able to crack any iPhone and iPad models on which iOS 13.5 or iPadOS 13.5 is installed. This means that you can upgrade to these versions of operating systems quite calmly, even if you need jailbreak and tweaks that expand the capabilities of Apple devices, explains NIX Solutions.

On June 22, Apple will launch an online version of the conference for WWDC developers. It is expected that a beta version of iOS 14 will be released as part of this event. The early build of iOS 14 was intended for testing by developers inside Apple, and leaked back at the end of last year. In February hackers and journalists who revealed some features of this update was discovered in it by new embedded applications.
