Today, Apple re-released iOS 17.6.1, a week after the initial release. The new version has the build number “21G101,” while the original was “21G93.” This update can be downloaded over the air to supported iPhone and iPad models via Settings > General > Software Update.
According to the official update notes, iOS 17.6.1 fixes an issue that prevented Enhanced Data Protection from working correctly. It is unclear how the re-released version has changed or how it differs from the original. A small number of users were experiencing issues with Enhanced Data Protection. When attempting to turn the feature on, an error message would appear. When attempting to turn the feature off, it would appear off, but would remain enabled for iCloud data. Both issues have been fixed in the update.

watchOS and tvOS Updates
Apple also released watchOS 10.6.1 and tvOS 17.6.1 today with bug fixes.
watchOS 10.6.1 can be downloaded via the Apple Watch app on iPhones running iOS 17 or later. To do so, select General > Software Update. Your Apple Watch must be charged to at least 50% and connected to a charger to install the update. According to the update note, watchOS 10.6.1 fixes an issue that could prevent access to Apple Fitness+.
You can download tvOS 17.6.1 via the Settings app on your Apple TV. Select System > Software Update, notes NIXSolutions. If you have automatic updates enabled, you don’t need to do anything. tvOS updates are usually minor, and tvOS 17.6.1 is no exception. It is unknown what changes the new version contains.
