Apple has released the final test update of iOS 16. It has the status of Release Candidate and, most likely, it will be released officially in this form.
iOS 16 in the Release Candidate version can be installed by registered developers or those users on whose smartphones a special profile has been added that allows you to install experimental updates.
iOS 16 brings quite a few changes and innovations, says iGuides, including a new lock screen that can be personalized with various settings and interactive widgets, a focus mode that lets you get rid of unnecessary distracting notifications, edit sent messages in iMessage, and improved search in mail.
The release of iOS 16 and other updated Apple operating systems will take place very soon. If you are an ordinary user and you want to try out all the innovations, there is no point in bothering with installing a test update, you can wait a bit.
NIX Solutions notes that other test updates have also been released in the Release Candidate version – tvOS 16, watchOS 9, iOS 15.7 and macOS 15.7.
