The iOS 18.1 RC build number is 22B82, and it supports all devices compatible with iOS 18. However, the new Apple Intelligence tools will only be available on these models:
- iPhone 15 Pro

- iPhone 16
- iPhone 16 Plus
- iPhone 16 Pro
- iPhone 16 Pro Max
Apple Intelligence features in iOS 18.1 include enhanced text tools, important notifications display, and a feature to remove objects from photos. Additionally, the update introduces improvements to the Control Center and other system areas not directly tied to the AI set.
Final Preparations Before Release
If no bugs are found in the RC version, it will become the official public release next week, adds NIXSolutions. We’ll keep you updated on any changes or issues that may arise.
In parallel with iOS 18.1, Apple has also released RC versions of iPadOS 18.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1, and other platforms. However, updates for visionOS, tvOS, and watchOS bring minimal changes, with Apple focusing more on iPhone, iPad, and Mac improvements this time around.
